Arc Health is seeking a board-certified
Family Practice Physician (MD, DO) for a position in Santa Rosa, CA.
The Family Practice Provider will
collaborate with their assigned care team to deliver high-quality primary care
services to patients of all ages, following accepted standards of medical
practice. Responsibilities include responding to patients' medical/health
issues, which involves history-taking, diagnosis, investigations, treatment,
and referrals as needed, all while maintaining confidentiality and
impartiality. The role also involves promoting health education alongside other
health professionals and sharing night and weekend telephone calls with fellow
staff clinicians. Staying current with medical developments, new drugs,
treatments, and medications is an integral part of the role. This position
revolves around delivering family-oriented medical care services within a
Patient-Centered Medical Home Model.
Clinic
·
16-20 walk-in
patients per day.
·
Must see pre and
postpartum patients as well as urgent care patients (suturing, splinting,
etc).
·
Monday - Friday,
8am-5pm. Flexible scheduling options including 5 8-hour days, 4 10-hour days, 3 weeks on/1 week off
·
Must be willing
and capable to provide urgent and emergent care
·
Minimum 3-month
assignment, 6 months preferred.

Qualifications
·
Graduate of an
accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
·
Current
unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
·
Licensure and
certification according to provider status: MD, DO.
·
Preferred: 2+
years of experience but select new grads considered.
·
Possession of a
Valid Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate.
·
Preferred: Board
Certification in Family Medicine or another closely related Primary Care
specialty.
· Ability to cover rotating nights and weekend telephone calls.
·
Must possess a
current BLS certificate.
·
Must provide
proof of completed COVID-19 vaccines, booster, and annual flu vaccine.
About the location
Located in Santa Rosa, CA, this site serves
the healthcare needs of all Indians of Sonoma County. It is a Community Health
Center funded by State, County and private funds– through a special
relationship with the CA Rural Indian Health Board, and is sub-contracted with
the federal government.
The center serves approximately 5,000
active patients. Santa Rosa County is located in the North Bay region of
the Bay Area in California, home to a lively community. Candidates must be
sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, including their

Key Responsibilities

Provide care in alignment with IHS, HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical standards

Perform preventive, restorative, and emergency dental procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to quality improvement processes

Support administrative functions like lab coordination, scheduling, and billing

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, peer review, and continuing education

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution

Minimum of 3 consecutive years of clinical experience as a General Dentist

Valid and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in California

Active DEA license and current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification

Current California driver’s license and clean driving record

U.S. work eligibility and ability to pass background check, physical, TB test, and drug screening
