Permanent Primary Care Physician Opportunity – Competitive Compensation & Leadership Impact
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services within a patient-centered healthcare organization. This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving health outcomes and patient experience.
The Primary Care Physician will provide direct patient care, support clinical operations, mentor advanced practice providers, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and help ensure consistent clinical standards across multiple care settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation.
- Facilitate coordination and continuity of care for patients.
- Provide clinical consultation and support to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, and nursing staff.
- Assist with oversight of clinical operations and laboratory services as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement workflows, quality initiatives, and clinical best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, chart reviews, peer reviews, and committee meetings.
- Support staff development, mentorship, and clinical education efforts.
- Assist with incident reviews, patient concerns, and program development initiatives.
- Promote a positive, culturally responsive, and patient-focused care environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Experience providing comprehensive primary care services.
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes and patient outcome metrics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in community health, rural health, integrated care, or underserved populations.
- Experience supervising or mentoring advanced practice providers.
- Familiarity with healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards.
Schedule
