Arc Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide services for the Rosebud-Sioux community. The ideal candidate is:

• Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
• Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners

Practice Description:

• Schedule: M - F, 8am-5pm; No call
• EHR system: RPMS
• Typical patients per day (in outpatient setting): 14-20

Requirements:

• Board certified
• Any state license
• ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Must have 2 years or more of experience
• Covid vaccination plus boosters
• Background check with fingerprinting

• Rosebud is 3 hours from Rapid City and 4 hours from Sioux Falls. Pierre, the capital of South Dakota, is about 1 hour away.
• The Rosebud Indian Health Service hospital is a 35 bed comprehensive medical/surgical hospital.
• The hospital is the primary source of health care for the Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate) tribal members, in and around the Rosebud Sioux reservation.

Job Details:

• Setting: Clinic- Inpatient/Nocturnist
• Start Date- As soon as credentialed
• Schedule: 10-12 hour shifts; 7pm - 7am; minimum of a 7 day block
• Census- 7 inpatients
• Demographics- All ages 0+

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses in hospital and clinic setting
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations for adults and children
• Participate in quality improvement/patient safety projects
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Active board certification
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
• Not had a lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment

Arc Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing outpatient care for the Rosebud Sioux community. This role is an opportunity to serve in a mission-driven capacity, delivering comprehensive care to women, infants, and families in a rural Tribal setting.

Position Overview:

The Women’s Health NP will focus on providing care to a high-risk maternal and perinatal population. The role also involves managing medically complex cases, including in the emergency department, delivering family planning services, and assisting in labor and delivery when needed.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Minimum of 2 years of Women’s Health experience
• Ability to meet federal contract requirements (background check and immunization compliance)
• Comfortable working in a culturally diverse, often bilingual environment
• No history of malpractice

• Completed a US residency program 
• Not had a lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment 

Practice Description 

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. 1 hour of administrative time each day 
• Typical number of patients seen per day: 14-18 
• EHR: RPMS 

Requirements 

• Board Certified MD/DO
