OSLNH was built in 2016 and offers a large staff breakroom with a refrigerator for traveler meals and Men and Women s locker rooms with a shower. Location:The Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home is located south of Whiteclay, Nebraska. We are a 60- bed long term care nursing facility with a 12- bed memory care unit owned by the Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home, Inc., and managed by Native American Health Management (NAHM). Housing options are available in Rushville, Chadron and Gordon, Nebraska. The facility is not located on the reservation. Department:60-bed Long-Term Care unit with 4 wings that are broken into two sections, 2 South and 2 North. Each hallway has 15 beds. Staffing for the day and night shift consists of 2 RN/LPN for the facility, or combination of RN/LPN and 2 Med Aides. There will be 1 CNA per hallway. There are no bath aides and staff is expected to help with bathing. The contract staff may float to Memory Care (12-bed unit) but it is not extremely likely as the facility likes to keep consistency in caregivers for those residents. All rooms are double occupancy with the except of 3 private rooms. Specialty Profile:Minimum of 2 years experience working as an LPN in a Long-Term Care setting. LPN is required to have experience with drawing labs. Requirements: Licensed as an LPN in the State of Nebraska or Compact State license and BLS issued through American Heart Association. Shifts: 12 hour shifts; 6:00AM-6:30PM or 6:00PM-6:30AM. Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks:91
