Excellent Therapy services with patients being seen several times a day. Charting: Meditech Expanse; Pumps: Alaris Specialty Profile:Minimum of 2 years experience working in Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit. Previous experience working in Critical Access Hospital required. BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required, PALS is preferred. Housing options are available in Rushville, Chadron and Gordon, Nebraska. The facility is not located on the reservation. Department:60-bed Long-Term Care unit with 4 wings that are broken into two sections, 2 South and 2 North. Each hallway has 15 beds. Staffing for the day and night shift consists of 2 RN/LPN for the facility, or combination of RN/LPN and 2 Med Aides. There will be 1 CNA per hallway. There are no bath aides and staff is expected to help with bathing. The contract staff may float to Memory Care (12-bed unit) but it is not extremely likely as the facility likes to keep consistency in caregivers for those residents. Client:From our beginnings, WCCH has been a leader in rural health care. Webster County Community Hospital has grown from a small house that was used in the earliest beginnings to the current location of our 13-bed Critical Access Hospital. It is complemented with the Webster County Clinic, which is a rural health clinic attached to our facility. Housing: Please contact RTG MSP Account Manager for a list of housing options. Traveler will need reliable transportation as Red Cloud is a rural community and no public transportation (bus, Uber, Lyft, ect) is available. Department:13-bed Critical Access Facility with ER (3 bays) and an Acute Care unit. No OB department. The majority of patients will be seen in the ER with an average of 1-5 patient visits per shift. The number of inpatient patient days at this facility is very low. Ratio: Day - 1-RN, 1-LPN, and 1-Aide; Nights: 1-RN and 1-LPN. Clinic doctors take call and are also available via telehealth at night, if needed. No Respiratory Therapists are available so the RN should be comfortable with BiPAP to stabilize the patient until transport to a larger facility may happen. No code team available, RN must be able to start IVs. Requirements: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska, or Compact. BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required certifications.
